Comments After the cancellation of so many events we thought that there could be a bumper turnout at this event but had to settle for 14 with DEEsiders outnumbered ! Clive planned the event and I mapped the area (my first attempt with OCAD 5). The courses offered a good challenge with complex route choices through the maze of paths and underpasses although, as usual, some DEEsiders couldn't navigate to the Start without help. I hope you all appreciated the fine views of Runcorn Bridge from Control 1. The only disputed control was 27 where several people had the number of the adjacent lamp post, we have decided to allow this and award the points although it didn't affect the results. I had hoped we would miss the rain, however many runners returned in a downpour with soggy maps and soggier answer sheets. Many thanks to Carol Tarr and Barry Barnes for help on the night.

With the unavailabilty of our usual off-road running routes I am trying to schedule another 4 street Os, this time in the daylight ! Watch the web site for details.
