Comments A really good turnout for a very cold but clear night (it must have been the eclipse of the moon !) saw me running out of maps. Last year I did far too many so this year ... Thanks to Barry Barnes for nipping round to the local garage for some more photocopies as well as doing all the scoring. On reviewing the results I have made some adjustments where it is clear that you visited the site (for example the Milepost dated 1898 where I allowed 1838, must have been the moon again). It was good to see some new faces, particularly Hannah Hately (W1) who's buggy gave Maggie some navigation problems when it wouldn't fit down one of the paths. I hope you've not been put off by the hills! I tried to vary the planning from last year giving a greater incentive to running the southern loop (past the mast for the Tues night training gang) and I'm glad to see a few of you tried it.
Hope to see you all at Stockton Heath on 6th Feb (regular competitors note the change in start location).
Note that there will be a fourth event this year at Runcorn. Details in the next Fixtures List, at Stockton Heath and on this web site after the Stockton Heath event.
