Organiser's comments:

We were blessed with glorious weather on the day and the roads were free of ice and snow. The format of the event was unusual but we thought it was a good opportunity to use up some of the overprinted maps from the Delamere Team Orienteering Challenge. I hope that you all enjoyed your day and are looking forward to the year ahead. Could I thank all those who helped, particularly my co-planner and organiser Peter Edwards, Alison for the computerised results, John Hammond for his help and, as always, Barbara Jones and Carol Tarr for their hard work in providing the refreshments. I should also like to thank Heather Munro for presenting the junior prizes and Bob Roach the senior ones. This is the last Turkey Trot I will plan and I am looking forward to competing in future years!
